CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF THE DOOR OPENING (FIG. 20)
IT IS RECOMMENDED that changing the direction of opening the refrigerator door is carried out by a
service specialist However, one should bear in mind that this service is covered by the warranty.
When changing the door opening direction alone, it is recommended to do this with help of another
person. Required tools: no. 8 and no. 10 wrench and a screwdriver.
When changing the direction of opening the door, do NOT place the appliance in a horizontal position!
Follow the instructions below:
CAUTION! Turn off the refrigerator and freezer compartments — touch 1 and 6 sensors. Once both
compartment are off, the symbols will become grey (see Fig. 3). Unplug the appliance — remove the
power cord plug from the wall socket.
1. Remove four bolts (13) and remove the door cover (12) from the upper door.
2. Remove the caps (c) located on and inside the door.
3. Remove the clamp (14) and pull the tube (15) from the door including the sleeve (16). Before this,
disconnect the connectors (23) of the wire 15 and 24 from the electronic controller.
4. Remove the upper support (6) including a nut and sealing and a spacer located under the support.
5. Remove the refrigerator door (1). Remove the cap (5) at the bottom. To open the door to the left
side, screw the cap (5) on the opposite side of the door (included).
6. Remove the middle support (4) including the axle seals and the plastic element.
7. Remove the freezer door (3). Remove the cap (25) at the bottom. To open the door to the left side,
screw the cap on the opposite side of the door (included).
8. Remove the lower cover (11) including a small cap (10).
9. Remove the axle (2), including the seals and a fixing element (26) of the lower support (7) and
screw to the support 7 on the opposite side of the compartment, symmetrically to their previous
position.
10. Remove the nuts (8) from the part separating the freezer compartment from the refrigerator and put
them in holes on the opposite side.
11. Remove the caps (9) from the freezer compartment door and put them (push) on the opposite side.
12. Place the freezer compartment door on the support (7) and axle (2).
13. Rotate the support (4) with seals on the axle and plastic spacer by 180 degrees and insert the sup-
port axle in the freezer door screw on the opposite side of the axle seal in the upper and lower part
of the support.
14. Remove the four bolts (18) and remove the decorative panel (19).
15. Put the tube (15) to the other side of the compartment symmetrically to its previous position. Put the
tube in a special cavity on the left. Make sure that the tube does not have any sharp bends.
16. Screw the decorative panel. Before this, put the tube on the left side of the compartment symmetri-
cally to its previous position.
17. Place the refrigerator compartment door on the support axle (4).
18. Put the tube 24 in the refrigerator compartment door on the other side and hang on the clamp (22).
Connect the connectors (23) of cords 15 and 24.
19. Rotate the support 6 including the axle seals and the plastic spacer by 180°. Remove the axle and
seals and put on the other side of the support. After placing the support 6 axle in the refrigerator
compartment door, fix on the opposite side of the refrigerator, in the lower holes.
20. Screw the cover (12) in the upper part of the refrigerator door. Use c covers to cover the support 6
and the remaining empty space.
21. Place the cap (10) in the lower cover (11) on the opposite side and put the cover in its previous posi-
tion.
