Question/Problem - Cause
Causa
The reciprocating saw doesn't switch on when you press
the" ON/OFF" switch:
• Discharged battery;
• Switch connections are not in good condition or
switch does not work;
The" ON/OFF" switch is blocked:
• The "ON/OFF" switch lock/unlock button is not
pressed;
Poor quality of cut:
• The blade is not sharpened;
• The blade is not properly assembled;
• The pressure on the saw is too high;
Low performance of cut:
• The blade is not sharpened;
• The cutting speed is not in accordance with the type
of material of the workpiece;
• The pendulum movement is not in accordance with
the type of material of the workpiece;
Solution
• Charge the battery;
• Repair or replace the switch;
• Press the lock/unlock button of the "ON/OFF" switch;
• Sharpen the blade properly;
• Assemble the blade properly;
• Reduce the pressure on the reciprocating saw;
• Replace by a new blade;
• Adjust the speed according to the type of material;
• Adjust the pendulum movement according to the
material;
