For the best performance and to extend lifetime of
your Braun appliance, we recommend to perform
the following procedure at least 2 per year.
• Follow the steps described under F. a.-f.
• Fill the boiler with 500 ml tap water.
• Shake the boiler to rinse.
• Empty the boiler and close it.
Note: Because of the diff erent water composition
by using an installed in-house permanent descaler,
it is recommended to descale the system after
every 4 complete refi lls or at least once per month.
Please note that in this case the icon for descaling
will not automatically start fl ashing.
(G) Care and Cleaning
• Before cleaning, always make sure that the
appliance is switched off , unplugged and has
cooled down completely.
• To clean the soleplate it is suggested to use a
damp cloth.
• To clean the soft material on the handle and the
high glossy surface use a damp cloth only.
• Never use chemicals, vinegar or scouring pads
(eg. sponges with coarse nylon fabrics etc).
