Product usage
When the oil has reached the desired cooking temperature and the green temperature
indicator light has turned off, carefully lower the baskets into the oil to start cooking. If
the frying baskets are in the oil draining position, lift them off the edge of the fryer.
Position the lid on top of the fryer and cook until the food is golden brown.
Once the food is cooked, remove the lid carefully. Make sure your face is away from the
escaping steam. Place the basket in the oil draining position and leave for a minute to
drain. Then to further remove oil, put the food on absorbent paper (kitchen towel).
WARNING! Risk of burns! Never touch the baskets while they are hot. Always
use the handles.
If you are frying another batch of food, wait until the oil is once again at the desired
cooking temperature.
When you have finished using the unit, turn the thermostat knob to the OFF position and
unplug the unit.
Allow the unit and all accessories to cool down completely before cleaning and storage
( CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
Resetting the unit
The fryer is equipped with an overheating protection system. If the fryer overheats, the
overheating protection system will automatically turn off the fryer when the temperature
reaches 240°C. Should this happen, allow the fryer to cool completely. Then, use a pointy object
(e.g. a pen) to press the RESET button located directly behind the fryer that has overheated,
and the unit will resume heating to the set temperature. If both fryers have overheated, you
will need to press the two RESET buttons.
