Maintenance (important)
S&P heaters do not need an special maintenance. Being appliances that are placed on
the ground, it is easy for absorb dust, hair from carpets or domestic animals, etc. So, it is
ESSENTIAL: CLEAN PERIODICALLY AS A MINIMUM WHEN STARTING EACH SEASON, the
dust accumulated inside with compressed air blown through the inlet and outlet grilles. It
is recommended for this operation to be carried out by professional. Clean the air inlet and
outlet grilles regularly. Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under the tap. Do
not dismantle or modify the appliance as this would automatically cancel the guarantee.
If you detect any anomaly, contact one of our many offi cial S&P servicing shops.
If the fl exible mains cable is damaged, it must only be replaced by one of our Offi cial Re-
pair workshops, as special tools are needed.
Protection against overheating
If any operating trouble is produced, the overheating disconnection system will automatica-
lly disconnect the convector.
If this occurs:
• Place the power switch in the "0" position.
• Disconnect the convector from the mains.
• Let the convector cool down for 10 minutes.
• Check that the air inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked. If necessary, clean them
with a vacuum cleaner.
• If the convector still does not work normally after these checks, please contact the
extensive network of S&P Offi cial Services.
