6. ASSEMBLY TIPS
Install a crane pole with sufficient capacity to lift the weight of the electric pump and the pipe completely
filled with water, above the vertical of the well.
NEVER INSTALL THE UNIT MANUALLY OR USING THE CABLE AS A SUPPORT.
7. REFILLING THE ENGINE
THE SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR IS WATER-COOLED. IT
IS THEREFORE NECESSARY TO REFILL THE MO-
TOR WITH CLEAN WATER.
Place the electric pump in vertical position and uns-
crew screws 1 and 2 in connection with the suction
grille (see diagram).
Fill clean water into the hole 1
until water flows out of hole 2.
Wait a few minutes and repeat the operation care-
fully, tapping lightly to allow air to escape from the
interior.
Close screws 1 and 2 again.
After this operation, the electric pump must remain
in a vertical position to prevent water from escaping
from the motor.
