Never rinse the boiler under the tap water
and never immerse it in water.

PROBLEM
No coffee is released
The coffee takes a long time to be
released
Coffee leaks from the edges of the
boiler
DESCALING
Over time, after making a large number of cof-
fees, a layer of lime scale may form on the bot-
tom of the boiler. This may make percolation
times excessively long.
To prevent this, the layer of lime scale must be
removed regularly by descaling.
Use commercially available products specifically
for descaling coffee machines (citric acid for
example).
To descale, proceed as follows:
1. Make sure the coffee maker is cold and
2. Fill the boiler with the descaler (fig. 10) and
3. After half an hour, empty the boiler and make
4. Make at least three coffees and throw away.
PROBABLE CAUSES
No water in the boiler
The coffee used is not the right
type
The disk filter is blocked
The coffee has been pressed
