TO DISASSEMBLE
Switch off the appliance by turning the switch control to its "0" position and wait
for the motor and stainless steel filter to stop working. Unplug the appliance from
the mains outlet.
Reverse the assembly procedure to take the juicer apart.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Place the appliance on a dry, stable surface after it is assembled (as described
in "How to assemble" section).
2.
Insert the power plug into the mains supply outlet.
Note: Always make sure the pulp container and juice cup are in place before
turning on the appliance.
3.
Start the appliance by turning the control switch to "1" (low speed) or "2" (high
speed). Use speed "1" for softer foods (such as grapes, kiwifruit, melons,
peaches, etc.); speed "2" for harder foods (such as apples, pears, carrots, etc.).
4.
Do not insert any fruits or vegetables until you have turned the juicer on. Allow
it to run for at least 5 seconds before start juicing.
5.
With the motor running, insert fruits or vegetables through the feeder chute.
Use the food pusher, to gently guide and slowly push the food down the chute.
To extract the maximum amount of juice, place foods one by one. Do not overfill
the feeding chute.
Note: Never put your hands or fingers or other objects into the feeding chute –
always use the food pusher.
6. Juice will flow into the juice cup, and separated pulp will accumulate in
pulp
container.
7.
If food gets lodged in the feeding chute, use the food pusher or another piece
of fruit or vegetable to push it down. When this method is not possible, turn the
motor off, unplug and then disassemble the juicer to remove the
remaining food.
Note: Never open the top cover or release the safety locking latches while it is
in operation.
8.
After adding the last piece of food; allow the juicer to continue to run to help
clear the juice from the filter/filter base. The time will vary depending on the fruit
type and thickness of the juice extracted.
9. After juicing and the final flow of juice has been reduced to a few slow drips,
turn the switch control to "0" to switch off the appliance. Wait for both the motor
and the stainless steel filter to stop working completely. Then unplug
the appliance.
10. The pulp container and the juice cup can be emptied during juicing by turning
the switch control to "0" and then carefully remove them from the juicer to clear
the pulp container and pour juice to other containers. Make sure to replace the
empty pulp container and the juice cup back into their places before continuing
the juicing process.
NOTE: Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 3 minutes. After
continuous operation, please let it rest for at least 7 minutes before any further
usage of the appliance. After 2 cycles (each cycle with 1 min on, 3 mins off), rest the
product for 15-20 mins or till the motor cools down, then resume.
Safety system
■ The juicer will not work, if:
- it is not properly and completely assembled.
- the top cover is not properly locked in place with the safety locking latches.
Once the latch is opened, the appliance will immediately stop working.
■ The appliance is equipped with a self-resetting thermal cut-out that can cut
off the power if the motor overheats. If the appliance stops running during
operation, switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Let
it cool down for 20 minutes. Afterwards, plug it back into the socket to resume
the operation.
Wide feeding chute
The 80mm dia. extra wide feeding chute allows most fruits (whole apples, tomatoes,
etc.) and vegetables to slide through without the need of pre-cutting or chopping,
which saves time and makes juicing easier.
