8. Setup and installation

• Start by attaching the stand to the monitor. Click the monitor holder into the stand.
• Place the monitor on a flat, stable surface.
Keep a distance of at least 10 cm from obstacles (e.g walls, furniture or other devices) to ensure sufficient
air circulation.
• Alternatively, you can use a VESA bracket (not included) to mount the monitor to vertical surfaces such as walls.
There are two screw holes on the bottom rear of the monitor for this purpose. Due to the low weight of the monitor,
these two holes are sufficient to hold the monitor in place. A suitable VETA bracket must be purchased separately.
Ensure that no hidden cables or wires are damaged when drilling holes or tightening screws.

9. Connection

The rear of the monitor features the following sockets:
DC-IN
Mains connection: Use this socket to connect the power-in plug on the power adapter.
HDMI-IN
HDMI connection: Use this socket to connect an HDMI cable with an HDMI signal. This socket is
designed to connect the monitor to devices that produce an HDMI signal.
VGA-IN
VGA input: Connect a 15-pin DE-15 cable to the 15-pin VGA socket for an analogue VGA video signal.
This input is designed to connect devices that produce an analogue video signal (e.g. computer).
V-IN1
CVBS video input 1: Connect a cable with a BNC connector to transmit an analogue video signal to
the monitor.
V-IN2
CVBS video input 2: Connect a cable with a BNC connector to transmit an analogue video signal to
the monitor.
V-OUT
CVBS video output: Connect a cable with a BNC connector to obtain an analogue video signal from
the monitor.
A-IN
Audio input: Connect the audio cable from an audio source to the jack input.
A-OUT
Audio output: Use this output to connect an external speaker via the jack connection.
• Connect the outputs on your source device (e.g. surveillance camera, DVR or DVD player) to the corresponding
inputs on the monitor.
• Connect the power adapter cable to the power-in socket on the monitor.
• Plug the power adapter into a standard mains socket. The LED indicator (1) will turn red.
