3.4 WinterGard Mesh Installation
All connections and electrical testing should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
For irregularly shaped areas, it is acceptable to cut the mesh and adjust the heating element position in order to achieve good coverage.
See illustrative examples on page 13.
The heating element must not be cut or damaged
The heating element must not be crossed over itself
The heating element must not be installed within 3" (7.6cm) of another section of heating element or 1" from the cold leads
WinterGard Mesh must not be installed across expansion joints, across separate concrete slabs. Crack control joints may be crossed as
shown in the figure.
