WARNING:
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault
current protection appliance (FI / RCD) with a rated current of not
more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom. Please
contact an authorised electrician for advice.
• The nozzle gets hot during operation! Risk of burns!
• Please ensure that the inlet grille remains free of fluff and hairs.
Danger of fire!
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an author-
ized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified per-
sons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are supervised.
• This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during
cleaning. Please observe the instructions that we have included
for you in the chapter "Cleaning".
Notes on Use
• If you wish to dry specific sections of your hair only, at-
tach the styling nozzle. That will concentrate the air flow.
• In order to remove the nozzle, let the appliance cool
down. You can speed up that process by pressing the
COOL button for approx. ½ minute during operation.
You may then simply remove the nozzle.
Mains Cable
The device has an automatic cable rewind function.
Always fully extract the cable to the red marking.

CAUTION:
Never extract the cable beyond the red marking, as the
rewind mechanism could get damaged otherwise. Such
damage is not covered by the warranty.
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appli-
ance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket.
