FRAME, SUSPENSIONS AND WHEELS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF Ø45USD FORK
GENERAL
Remote hydraulic fork with reversed legs with static load spring and cartridge multivalve damping
system.
During the compression stage, the hydraulic damping is performed by a special valve at the bottom of
each, whereas during the rebound stage it is performed by a cartridge inside each stanchion. Each
fork leg is equipped with an outer adjuster for compression and rebound.
Bleeder screw on the top plug of each leg.
Sliding bushing for floating damping rod.
STANCHION TUBES: special high resistance stainless steel, surface chrome plating.
SLIDER: aluminum alloy, CNC machined.
SLIDING BUSHINGS: Teflon, free from static friction.
SEALS: computer designed oil seals ensure the highest seal during compression and minimum friction
during rebound
SPRINGS: stainless steel with steady pitch, available in different lengths for different static loads (see
table).
OIL: MARZOCCHI SAE 7.5 Ref. 550013. Special formula with no foam building. It keeps the viscosity
features unchanged in every working condition: free from static friction. For particularly cold climates
use oil "MARZOCCHI - SAE 5 Ref. 550003.
SPRING TABLE
The static load of the fork is determined by the spring, positioned at the top of each leg: by changing
either spring features or pre-load sleeve length a different suspension behavior is obtained without
changing the hydraulic features. The following table describes the "spring+pipe" kit available as
spare part.
