Starting up the system
When
operating the equipment, please refer to the
preceding fold-out page with the indexed diagram of the
operating unit. The following
pages describe
the individual
units and their functions. Reference is made to the
indexed diagram.
Start-up with the power switch

Press the power switch (see photo [8B)).
¢
The system switches to standby mode or the last
active source is selected.
Start-up from standby mode
¢
Thesystem can be activated directly by pressing the
power (11) key or any source key (16, 17, 18, 19).
¢ — ifthe system is started with the power (||) key, the
active source is automatically selected and the
amplifier switched on. If one of the source keys (16,
[7, 18, 19) is pressed, the amplifier is switched on
and the selected source is activated.
The Symbol LEDs on the front of the selected
components light up.
tart-up with the tape key
¢
important: The tape (18) and rec (14) keys can
only be used when an evolution cassette recorder
is installed. lf these keys are pressed but no cassette
recorder is connected, the message "sorry, not
present" is displayed. This message can be cancelled
by selecting any other source (16, 7, 19).
Switching the system off
¢
The system can be switched to standby mode by
pressing the power
(11) key or completely
disconnected from the AC power source by actuating
the power switch (see Photo [8B]). The tuner
station programming
is retained
but all other
programmed settings are cleared.
