-
Connect the hoses to the pressure filter (supply hose (A), return hose (F) and
wastewater hose (G)). Use hose clamps to create a watertight seal.
-
Connect the pump to the other side of the supply hose and turn the pump in the
water.
-
Place the return hose with the outlet in the pond or in the stream (max. 1m height
difference with the pressure filter cap).
-
Place the outlet of the wastewater hose in the garden.
-
Make sure the filter knob (H) is in filter mode.
-
Make sure the wastewater hose tap (G) is closed and the valve (F) is open.
-
Put the pump into operation by plugging it into the power outlet. Follow the pump
instructions carefully.
-
If no leaking is found, you can also put the UV into operation by plugging it into the
power outlet. The UV-C lamp, which is on the control panel under the lever (I), will
turn blue.
The UV-C-integrated pressure filter can operate 24/7.
UV-C lamps must be replaced after approximately 7000 hours for maximum
performance.
Maintenance(Figures 3 and 6, pages 3 and 4)
To ensure a long life and problem-free operation, we recommend that you maintain and
clean the pressure filter regularly.
-
Follow the safety instructions.
-
Pressure filter maintenance depends strongly on the level of water contamination.
Cleaning the filter foam:
1. Clean the filter foam every two weeks or when flow reduction occurs.
2. Close the valve on the return hose (f) and open the wastewater hose tap
(G) and put the knob (H) in rinse mode
3. Move the lever (I) up and down several times until most of the trapped dirt
is washed out of the foam. The foam is sufficiently clean when clear water
starts running out of the drain hose.
4. Turn the knob (H) back to filter mode and turn the wastewater hose (G) off
by closing the tap and open the tap from the return hose (F).
5. If necessary, refill the pond with fresh tap water.
Washing the filter foam:
1. If, after cleaning the flow is still very low or the pressure filter becomes
dirty quickly, wash or replace the filter foam.
2. Unplug the UV-C and pump from the power outlet to turn them off.
3. Open the pressure filter by removing the clamping edge on top of it.
4. Remove the black cap (32) to pull out the filter foam (26+27) (write down
the order or take a picture to remember it)
5. Rinse the filter foam (26 + 27) in a bucket of clean pond water by
repeatedly squeezing and releasing it.
6. Replace the filter foam (26 + 27) if it has become fragile, does not return to
its original shape or remains dirty.
7. Place the filter foam (26 + 27) back in the correct order and install the
black cap (32).
8. Place the seal (30) back on top of the tank (31) (use Vaseline, if
necessary).
9. Place the cover (9) on the tank (31) and screw the clamping ring (28 + 29)
back on.
10. Put the pump into operation by plugging it into the power outlet.
