This instruction manual explains how to operate your
monitor when the BKM-104 is installed.
For installation of the BKM-104, consult your nearest Sony
dealer.
Before operating the unit, please read this manual
thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

Features
• The BKM-104 Caption Vision Board allows you to display the
Caption Vision on the monitor screen. Although there are different
Caption Vision broadcasts in the world, this board accepts the
Caption Vision broadcast in the United States or Canada only.
• Using this board, you can select the caption type among four:
CAPTION 1, CAPTION 2, TEXT 1 and TEXT 2.

Displaying the Caption Vision
When the BKM-104 is installed, the "CAPTION VISION" menu is
added to the monitor. To display the Caption Vision, operate the
monitor as follows:

Press the MENU/EXIT button on the monitor.
"MENU 1" will appear.

Display "MENU 2" or "MENU 3" depending on the monitor by
selecting "NEXT PAGE" on the menu and pressing the ENTER
button.

The "CAPTION VISION" item will appear on "MENU 2."

The "CAPTION VISION" item will appear on "MENU 3."

Select "CAPTION VISION" by pressing the . or > button and
press the ENTER button.
The "CAPTION V." (Caption Vision) menu will appear.

Select the caption type you want to display by pressing the . or
> button, and press the MENU/EXIT button.
The display will return to "MENU 2" or "MENU 3," whichever
was previously displayed.
To turn off the capitons or text
Repeat steps 1 to 4 above and select "OFF" on the "CAPTION V."
menu.
