Fitting Instruction Tour-Match Kit
Model: Suzuki GSX-R 1000

Important: If you are not a trained motorcycle mechanic stop now. Ask a
local motorcycle shop to do the work for you.

Fairing and screen need no operation!
The steering stop limit has to be reduced!
Instructions:
Loosen the fixing of the clutch cable on right side of the steering head and pull the cable
forward by 1cm; retighten the cable.
Brake hose: Use the new stainless steel brake hose. Install the 90°-banjo at the brake master
cylinder and the 20°-banjo at the wheel calliper. For details of the brake hoses installation see
separate instructions printed on the brake hose package.
Throttle cable: Route the throttle cable between ignition lock and tube of steering head in front
of the right stanchion and under the spacer of the ignition lock. Fix the cable with cable-strips
on the tube of the steering head (upper fixing-point of the cockpit-bracket). Control the
sufficient clearance to the fuel tank for full steering.
Fit the new bracket for hydraulic fluid reservoir with screw M6x30 at the fastening of the brake
cylinder, the bush of 3mm is to be inserted as distance; the fitted bracket shows to the left. Fix
the fluid reservoir with bolt M6x16, washer and self locking nut at the bracket.
Fix the small shims to reduce the steering lock limit with appropriate glue at the frame.
