The feeding pipes have to be rinsed thoroughly before the installation of the mixer, so that no shavings, welding or hemp residual or other dirt can be found in the pipes. Foreign bodies can enter the mixer through the rinsed pipes or the general water plant and could damage the washers/ring washers.

DRAIN DEVICE INSTALLATION Separate the lower pipe from the body of the device and remove the protection plug from the latter. Install the drain device in the hole of the sink inserting the components in the indicated sequence and screwing tightly the fastening nut.

Removethefinishcap(A)payingattentionnottodamageitandunscrewthepin(B)inordertoremove thehandle(C).Disassemblethesupport(D)andremovethewasher(E).Disassembletheheadvalve(F) byusinga11/16”[17mm]key.Insertthenewheadvalveandscrewitfirmlyinitsseat. WARNING:Duringthisprocedurecheckthatthesupportingsurfacesarecleanfromanyimpuritiesand that the headvalve seals is correctly positioned. Reassemble all in the opposite sequence.

Approach the wrenchsuppliedwiththelatterorientingitasshowninfigure20,andfastenitthroughthehookprojection. Remove the aerator pulling downwards the wrench. Ifitiscloggedjustrinsethefilterwithrunningwater,withoutusingdetergents.Ifitisdamagedreplaceit. Reassemble the aerator inserting it in its seat on the faucet and making the hole of the pin coincide with the hole above it.
