Installing activated carbon fi lter
Note: An activated carbon fi lter is not included in the scope of delivery. However,
you can buy it along with the extractor hood.
Activated carbon fi lters can be used to bind odours. Normally, the activated carbon
fi lter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on your cooking habits. The
activated carbon fi lter is installed as shown below:

Place the carbon fi lter on the back of the aluminium fi lter.

Insert the steel wire into the aluminium fi lter frame, one on each side. You have to
bend it to insert it into the other end of the frame.

Make sure that the steel wire fi xes the carbon fi lter on the aluminium fi lter.
