Wash out the inner pot and the inner lid with a mild cleaning agent and rinse it off and
o
dry it thoroughly with a dry, soft cloth afterwards. In order to prevent the inner pot from
deformations (which would inhibit a proper contact to the heating surface), it should
not be removed from the outer pot but just be cleaned via a soft, damp cloth. Make
sure that no water enters into the outer pot.
The inside and outside of the outer pot should be washed with a mild washing liquid
o
and rubbed off with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards.
Rice grains and other foreign bodies might stick onto the heating surface. These must
o
be removed in order to ensure an optimal heat transmission between the heating
surface and the inner pot. For removal of cooked rice from the heating surface you
may also use soft steel wool.
Afterwards rub it smooth and polish the spot in order to ensure a proper contact
between the heating surface and the bottom of the inner pot.
ATTENTION!
Do not use any scrubbing or acid cleaning agents for the cleaning of outer and
inner pot. These may affect and damage the surface.
Once in a while you may also use vinegar and water solutions as well as casual, non-
o
abrasive kitchen cleaners or customary cleaning agents in order to clean the stainless
steel surfaces.
Use a soft cloth for drying and polishing the surface after cleaning.
o
Make sure the device has been cleaned properly before storing it in a dry place.
