Before using the rice cooker for the first time the removable inner pot and the inner lid
o
should be washed with a warm soapsud and rinsed off and dried thoroughly afterwards.
CAUTION!
Ensure that the inner pan is dry and clean on the outside.
The inside and outside of the outer pot should be wiped thoroughly with a soft and
o
damp cloth in order to remove dust that has gathered during packing and transport.
Not at any time the outer pot should be dunked into water or other fluids.
After accomplishment of the above shown steps the inner pot is to be reinserted into
o
the outer pot. Please do not fill the outer pot with water or other fluids.
Now the rice cooker is ready for the cooking and keeping warm of rice.
5.3 Operation
1.
Before filling in the rice place the burnt-proof pad (scorch
protection) on the bottom of the inner pot. Make sure the
distance piece stays at the bottom while filling in the water.
2.
Measure off the amount of rice via the provided measuring
cup and wash it in a separate bowl.
3.
You may only cook a maximum amount of six cups of rice at
time.
4.
Fill in the washed rice into the inner pot of the rice cooker and
add the appropriate amount of water (see chart beneath).
ATTENTION!
The top water mark must not be exceeded!
5.
Place the inner pot into the outer pot and carefully turn it to the left and the right in
order to ensure that it is placed properly on the heating surface which is inevitable for
good heat transmission.
6.
Flap down the lid until the safety bracket snaps into the lock via a "click".
7.
Connect the power plug to the socket.
8.
Press down the ON/OFF switch. The red indication „COOK" lights up.
9.
After completion of rice cooking the device is switched off automatically and the green
indication „KEEP WARM" lights up.
10. Keep the lid shut for further 15 minutes in order to ensure the rice has been cooked
properly.
11. The rice cooker automatically keeps warm the rice. When the temperature in the inner
pot decreases the red indication „COOK" flashes up again and indicates the
continuation of the warm-keeping process. If this is not desired just pull the plug out of
the socket.
12. Please pull the power plug out of the socket after every use as otherwise the
warm-keeping process is continued. As soon as the plug is connected to the power
socket the warm-keeping function is engaged.
