LOG PLACEMENT

FAILURE TO POSITION THE LOGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE DIAGRAMS OR FAILURE TO USE
ONLY LOGS SPECIFICALLY APPROVED WITH THIS APPLIANCE MAY RESULT IN PROPERTY

logs and glowing embers exclusive to Napoleon, provide a unique and realistic glowing effect that is different

in every installation. Take the time to carefully position the glowing embers for a maximum glowing effect. Log colours may
vary. During the initial use of the appliance, the colours will become more uniform as colour pigments burn in during the
heat activated curing process.
Blocked burner ports can cause an incorrect flame pattern.
A.
Place the rear log #1 onto the locating studs along
the back edge of the PHAZERAMIC
Install pin in the right side of the log.
C.
Install pin in the front right hole located in the
burner. Place log #3 on the pin resting it along
the edge of the burner against the brick panel.
Ensure not to cover any ports.

Place log #5 onto the left pin of log #1 and #2.
NOTE: Two holes (shown above) indicate the area
for connecting log #5 to log #1. Failure to use the
appropriate hole according to gas type may result in
carbon forming.

Install the glowing embers and charcoal embers, refer to the "GLOWING EMBERS" AND "CHARCOAL EMBERS"
sections for detailled installation instructions.
H.
Reinstall the door and safety screen, refer to the "SAFETY SCREEN & DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION"
section for detailled installation instructions.
