Intended use
The product is intended for ceiling installation in interior spaces. It works either
with a 100 V PA amplifier or a HiFi amplifier.
Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor spaces only.
• Assembling the product in an unsuitable location can lead to property
damage and personal injury!
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor spaces only.
• Perform the installation very thoroughly. The speaker falling down might
not only cause expensive consequential damage but can also increase
the risk of injury!
• Check all screw connections from time to time. Modifying or moving the
speaker can cause the screw connections to become loose over time.
• Do not over-tighten the screws. That could cause damage to the threads
and affect the strength of the screws.
• Do not use the product as a means to support yourself or hold on to.
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorative material) to the product.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the wires are not pinched,
kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• The complete product must not become wet or damp. Never touch the
product with wet hands.

Preparing installation
Wiring
a) For 100 V PA amplifier
• Connect the transformer plugs to the terminals of the speaker.
• Select the desired transfromer rating (e.g. blue for 8 W).
• Connect the wires from the PA amplifier to the transformer plugs: amplifier negative
b) For HiFi amplifier
• Disconnect the transformer plugs from the terminals of the speaker.
• Connect the wires from the HiFi amplifier to the terminals of the speaker: amplifier
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Installation of the product must be carried out by a qualified professional
(i.e. an electrician) who is familiar with all applicable regulations!
If you do not have the relevant expert knowledge, do not install the product
yourself, but have it done by a professional.
Mount the product exclusively on an even, stable ceiling.
Ceiling mounting is only permissible if the condition of the ceiling is suitable
to do so. Thin light construction ceilings or gypsum plasterboards with
unstable substructure are usually not suitable.
Keep your own safety in mind when handling cutting or drilling tools.
Observe all other safety instructions in the manufacturer's instructions.
When installing the product, make sure there are no persons present within
the area below the speaker.

= transformer black plug, amplifier positive = plug of the selected tranformer rating.
Use a proper tool (e.g. a flat-tipped screwdriver) to turn the hold-down screws of
the terminals.
The sum of the selected transfromer ratings of all the speakers connected
to a PA amplifier must not exceed the power rating of the PA amplifier. For
example, to a 40 W PA amplifier, a maximum of 5 speakers of 8 W can be
connected.
