MAINTENANCE
Clean
Defrost
Disconnect the appliance before starting with cleaning.
• Clean the refrigerator with a regular, non-aggressive cleaning agent
and lukewarm water.
• Clean accessories separately with a cleaning agent and water. Do
not put these parts in the dishwasher.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive agents. Rinse the parts after cleaning
with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
Refrigerator
The refrigerator defrosts automatically from time to time.
The presence of water drops on the back wall at the inside of
the refrigerator indicates that the appliance is busy defrosting
automatically. The defrost water runs through the drainage spout to a
receptacle where it evaporates.
Ensure that the drain outlet is clean. You can clean a clogged drain with
a satay stick, for example.
Freezer (if any)
Defrost the freezer when the ice layer reaches a thickness of 5 mm.
Adjust the thermostat at a very high setting a day before defrosting is
done, so that foods are frozen as solidly as possible.
