14.1. Cutting control mode
The PV360 electric pruning shears has two cutting control modes:
Non-progressive cutting control
Progressive cutting control
PROGRESSIVE CUT CONTROL
When the pruning shear is on, the progressive cut control is predetermined, that is, the blade moves
according to the depth of the trigger drive, that is, if the trigger is activated halfway, the blade moves
progressively halfway through towards the fixed blade.
NON-PROGRESSIVE CUT CONTROL
To change the control mode, you must hold the trigger for 2 seconds until you hear an audible warning
(a beep), which indicates that you have changed from progressive cut control mode to normal cut
control mode.
In the non-progressive cut control, when the trigger is actuated the blade performs the cutting action,
and when the trigger is released the blade opens.
14.2. Opening change
The PV360 pruner is equipped with a blade opening change system with memory.
It means that it is possible to adjust the opening of the blade according to the desired
cutting diameter.
The opening of the blades can be adjusted in three positions :
- 100% blades opening
- Approx 75% blades opening
- Approx 50% blades opening
Procedure to adjust the opening of the blade :
• Press the power button. After the sound signal, press the trigger twice in rapid sequence
to open the blades - 100% blades opening.
• Press the power button. After the acoustic signal, press the trigger and after the other
acoustic sigal, release the trigger - approx 75% blades opening.
• Press the power button. After the acoustic signal, press the trigger and after the other
acoustic sigal, release the trigger - approx 50% blades opening.
• Press the power button. After the acoustic signal, press the trigger and after the other
acoustic sigal, release the trigger - 100% blades opening.
15. Maintenance and cleaning
Tools to be repaired must be sent to Customer Assistance Service. Use original part keeps
the tool good condition and safe.
