IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read the instruction booklet carefully before using the appliance.
1 The appliance is designed for household use only.
2 Do not use outdours or for other than intended use.
3 Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, or had been immersed completely
in water.
4 Unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
5 Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
6 If the cord or the appliance is dammaged, return the appliance to the nearest autho-
rized dealer for examination, repair, or adjustment. The use of attachments not recom-
mended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
7 To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the heating element, cord, plug or
deepfryer in water or any other liquid.
8 Hot oil can cause serious burns. When the appliance is on, it will be warm and this
will continue some time after you put off the deep fryer. Don't touch any hot surfaces,
such as the inner pot.
Don't move the appliance when it is operating or when it is still hot. Use the handles
to move the appliance.
9 Don't use the appliance when there is still water in the frying pan.
10 Always place the deep fryer on a heat resisting flat, horizontal surface.
11 The amount of oil in the pan should always be above the minimum level. Don't use
the appliance when there is too much, too little or no oil in the pan.
13 Don't place any flamable objects near the frying pan. When the oil is on fire, pull
the plug from the socket. Don't ever try to put out the fire with water.
14 Be extra careful when the appliance is used near children, the same applies for
people with a handicap.
15 Don't every leave this appliance unattended.
16 In deepfryers with a removable heating element you should never use solide frying
fat, only use liquide oil.
