1. General Safety Instructions
This transport trolley must only be set up, operated and maintained by authorised and duly trained
personnel who are familiar with this instruction manual. The personnel must be informed about any residual
risks.
The operator must ensure that no unauthorised persons work on the transport trolley or are within close proximi-
ty during its use. There is a risk of injury!
The transport trolley must be operated according to this instruction manual and the relevant regulations to avoid
operational malfunctions.
The instruction manual must be kept in the proximity of the trolley.
People must not be lifted or transported with this trolley!
It is prohibited to operate the transport trolley under the effect of medication which affects responsive and per-
ceptive faculties, and under the effect of alcohol and drugs!
Check beforehand whether you are physically capable of carrying out the intended load handling under the given
circumstances.
We strongly recommend all operators adhere to the respective national provisions for the manual handling of
goods. These provisions do not only recommend the maximum weights to be lifted but also the duration (or the
frequency) of a load carrying activity, the adopted body posture and the conditions under which the load hand-
ling takes place.
We only assume the liability for trouble-free operation if original Bohle spare parts are used.
The use of the transport trolley in a potentially explosive atmosphere (ATEX) is prohibited.
Before using the trolley, please ensure that the safeguard equipment is correctly positioned and free from dama-
ge.
In addition to the instruction manual, all relevant legal and other binding regulations concerning accident preven-
tion and environmental protection must be observed.
The transported goods must be removed during maintenance work!
Do not make any modifications, additions, or conversions to the trolley. This applies particularly to safety instal-
lations. Unauthorised alterations or modifications of the vacuum lifter will void the supplied
EC Declaration of Conformity.
The tip-over protection (suction lifters and/or tension belts) must never be removed or released during the trans-
port of an object.
Regularly check the transport trolley for damage. Exchange damaged parts immediately and do not use the
transport trolley.
The trolley must not be used in the event of strong winds (maximum wind speed 4 Beaufort), snow or rain. De-
pending on the shape and the size of the transported goods, operation may need to be stopped even earlier
(even in the event of lower wind speeds).
Never leave the transport trolley unattended while a load is attached.
Never exceed the maximum load capacity of the trolley or lift materials which are not suitable to be lifted with this
device.
Never try to transport cracked or chipped glass.
