7. INSTALL THE HOOD
BE CAREFUL when installing the decorative flue and hood, they may have sharp edges.
DO NOT REMOVE the protective plastic film covering the decorative flue.
1. Align the hood and center it above the hood mounting bracket. Gently lower the hood until it securely engages the bracket.
2. Level the hood.
3. While the hood is hanging in place, secure it to the wall through both holes located in the upper back of hood using 2 no. 8 x 1½"
screws and washers.
4. Using at least 1 hole on each side of the lower back of the hood, secure the hood into solid material (wall studs) using
2 no. 8 x 1½" screws and washers. If required, pre-drill holes using a 3/16" drill bit then insert wall anchors before securing the
screws.
