Turning on the refrigeration system
IN DRIVE MODE:
WARNING: Make certain that the Stand-By connection has been unplugged from the
electrical mains (220 V~).
- Start up the engine.
- If the control device is On (the temperature in the cell on the control display is shown in °C), the
refrigeration system automatically starts up.
- If the control device is Off (see System shutdown – the word "OFF" is shown on the control
panel display), turn on the instrument and start up the system by pressing "ON-OFF"
IN STAND-BY MODE:
WARNING: Before plugging the Stand-By device into the power supply (220 V~), make
certain that the vehicle engine is Off and that the on-board instrument panel is Off (key
removed).
- Plug the Stand-By device into the power supply (220 V~).
- If the control device is ON (the temperature in the cell on the control display is shown in °C), the
refrigeration system automatically starts up.
- If the control device is OFF (see System shutdown – the word "OFF" is shown on the control
panel display), turn on the instrument and start up the system by pressing "ON-OFF"
After having performed the above-mentioned system start-up procedure correctly, start up the en-
gine or turn on the STAND-BY device and the refrigeration unit compressor and electric fan will
cut in after a few seconds. This is indicated by special lights (see FIG. 3).
With the temperature inside the cell below 0 °C, a "-" sign appears before the numbers on the left-
hand side of the display.

You can lock the control device by pressing the

Setting the temperature in the refrigeration cell
The instrument provides a shortcut to access "Set Point" regulation (used to set the desired tem-
perature inside the refrigeration cell). It also has two Menus arranged on two levels and used to
display the programming parameters and their settings (see Accessing the Programming
Menu).
To display the "Set Point", press the "SET"
