HOW TO USE
1 – Preheating
YOUR WAFFLE
Before you connect the device to mains, make certain that
MAKER
the appliance is closed and that the temperature control (2)
is in position «I».
Now place the device upright on its feet (7) and connect it to
mains. The red lamp (4) will illuminate. Turn the temperature
control to the desired setting. Then the green lamp (3) will
switch on.
As soon as the temperature control has reached the preset
temperature, the green lamp (3) will switch off.
2 – Placing the batter into the Waffle Maker
Use only ingredients that are safe for human consumption.
We recommend you make the batter prior to the preheating
phase.
To give your waffles a golden brown crust that is also slightly
crunchy, distribute butter or margarine across the waffle iron
surfaces before you pour in the batter.
As soon as the green lamp (3) switch off, you are ready to
pour the prepared waffle batter into the designated rectan-
gles in the waffle iron surface (9a). Make sure that you fill the
recesses only to just below the outer edge, so that the risings
are slightly covered with dough, in order to prevent an over-
flow of dough when closing the device. Warning: Be careful
as the waffle iron surfaces are extremely hot.
Now close the cover (6) carefully, press the handles (5)
together and lock the device with the closure (1).
Allow the Waffle Maker to cook the batter for a while.
Depending on the setting you have chosen on the tempera-
ture control and how crispy you want your waffles to be, you
will have to wait longer.
Once the waffles look the way you expected, open the closure
(1) and the cover (6) and pull the waffles out carefully. Warning:
Be careful as the waffle iron surfaces are extremely hot.
Once you are done baking waffles, turn the temperature con-
trol to the «I» setting and unplug the device.
Always allow the device ample time to cool off and always
unplug it before you clean it or put it away for storage.
