• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all of the packaging material such as foils, filling
material, cable holders and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the appliance for any transport damage to prevent
a hazard.
NOTE:
• The appliance comes fully assembled.
• There may still be dust or production residues on the
surface of the appliance. We recommend that you
quickly wipe off the housing with a damp cloth.
Putting into Service
Position
The ideal position is a non-slip, flat surface.
Mains Cable
Unwind the mains cable fully from the back of the appliance.
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appli-
ance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a duly installed protective
contact socket
Use
Basic Settings
Set the blower inclination angle before starting the appli-
ance. You can adjust the inclination angle by tipping the
blower casing with both hands.

To select the speed, please use the push-button switch on
the back:

Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the
appliance.
• If you need to remove the safety guard: Always switch
the appliance off and remove the mains plug.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the
appliance in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise
this might result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a dry cloth with-
out any additives.
• If the appliance is very dirty wet a cloth with water and
then wipe the appliance dry once you have finished.
Storage
• Clean the appliance as described.
• There are two hooks on the back of the appliance below
the motor. Wind the mains cable around the two hooks.
• We recommend that the appliance is kept in its original
packaging if you do not intend to use it for long periods.
• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children,
in a well-ventilated and dry place.
