WARNING. The machine is equipped with a two stroke
engine. Always run the machine with fuel, which is mixed with
oil. Only prepare the quantity of fuel for each job. Do not smoke.
Refill when the engine is switched off and away from naked
flame. AIways use a minimum octane number of 90. Mix fresh
gasoline and IBEA oil in the ratio of 50:1 (2%). If the IBEA oil is
not available use synthetic or semi synthetic oils in the ratio
of 25:1 (4%)
Fig.A
Important Always shake this fuel mix vigorously each time
you use it. Fuel mix properties deteriorate with time we
therefore recommend that you only make the quantity of fuel
mix you will need for each usage. Do not use fuel mix more
than a week old as this could damage the engine. Fill the
brushcutter fuel tank only to 3/4 capacity to allow for fuel
expansion. Use IBEA fuel additive with unleaded fuel.
FUELING
WARNING: always shut off the engine before refueling. Slowly
open the cap of the fuel tank, when filling up with fuel, so that
any possible over pressure disappears. Tighten the fuel cap
carefully after fuelling. Always move the machine at least 3 m
(10Ft) from the fueling area before starting. Before fueling
clean the tank cap area carefully, to ensure that no dirt falls
into the tank make sure that the fuel is well mixed by shaking
the container before fueling.
Chain - lubrication
The bar and chain should be regularly greased to prevent
wear.
Oil is automatically distributed according to engine r.p.m.
However, the oil pump flow rate can be adjusted.
The oil tank capacity has been calculated so that some oil is
left when the fuel tank is empty.
Therefore, when filling up the fuel tank remember to also fill
up the lube oil tank. For best results use IBEA cutterbar
lubricant.
WARNING
If the oil tank is full and there is no fuel left, there may be an
oil pump failure.
The cutting device service life depends on lube oil quality.
Spent oil should not be used because prolonged and
repeated contact with the skin can cause skin cancer
besides tainting the environment.
Only use the quality biological oil preferably IBEA "EXTRA
OIL" type biodegradable. Made in order to get the best
results.
Carefully clean the area around the filler plug before topping
up, to prevent foreign matters from entering the tank.

ENGINE - START
Rest the chain saw on the ground, making sure that the cutting
does not touch any foreign object. No persons should be
within the chain saw work range.

- Push down the decompression button (7).
- With a cold engine:
- move the switch (1) to its start position (A)
- push primer bulb (6) repeadetly 5 to 6 times.
- hold the accelerator stop button down (2), pull the lever (1)
then release it.
- just pull lever (3) all the way to unlock the brake.
- With a warm engine:

Start - up
- Place your foot in the rear footpiece (fig. 25).
- Slowly pull the handle (4) (fig. 24), until you are opposed to
a considerable resistance, then give a firm and quick tug.
Continue until the engine starts chugging.
- Move the switch (1) to its central position and give a few tugs
until the engine is started (only with a cold engine).
- Put the handle back to its initial position to allow cable
rewinding.
Engine started
- Once the engine has been started, pull the trigger (3)
and release it right afterwards: the engine will be
automatically set to slow running.
WARNING: if the motor is not immediately set to slow
running the clutch could be damaged.
Before starting to work, release the chain brake by pulling the
