· The climate class indicates the minimum and maximum ambient temperature for the proper operation
of an appliance. You can find the climate class on the type plate on the back of the appliance.
· SN: Subnormal: ambient temperature between 10°C and 32°C
· N: Normal: ambient temperature between 16°C and 32°C
· ST: Subtropical: ambient temperature between 16°C and 38°C
· T: Tropical: ambient temperature between 16°C and 43°C
DOOR CONVERSION
If you need to hinge your door on the opposite side it is recommended that you call your local authorised
service agent to make this conversion or ask a technician. Before you reverse the door, you should ensure
the appliance is unplugged and empty. After reversing the door, leave the appliance alone for 8 hours
before switching it on. This allows the coolant to set.
It is recommended to use a crosshead screwdriver, a socket driver and a flathead screwdriver (not
supplied).
The freezer is built with the door hinges on the right side. If you want to switch the direction in which the
door opens, follow the following instructions:
1. Remove the cover of the upper hinge (3).
2. Remove the 2 screws (4) that attach the upper
hinge (5) to the freezer. Remove the upper hinge.
3. Lift the door and place it on a soft surface so that
it does not get damaged.
4. Remove the 2 screws (7) that attach the lower
hinge (6) to the freezer. Remove the lower hinge.
5. Remove the left front leg (2) and move it to the
right side of the freezer.
6. Replace the cover plate (1) to the right side.
7. Before placing the lower hinge (6), remove the
bolt (the right leg) (8) and reverse the direction of
the lower hinge. Install the lower hinge at the bottom left of the freezer with the 2 screws (7).
8. Screw the bolt (8) back into the lower hinge (6).
9. Place the door in its place, on the lower hinge (6).
10. Close the door and hold it in position while you attach the upper hinge (5) to the upper left corner of
the freezer with the 2 screws (4). Make sure that the door is straight before fastening the screws.
11. Place the cover (3) onto the upper hinge.
USE
Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before use.
Clean the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water and some bicarbonate or soda (5ml for 0.5l water).
Do not use any soap or detergent, as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The freezer is controlled with a temperature control knob located at the back of the appliance.
Adjust the control knob as desired to suit your individual preference. The higher the number, the colder
the temperature. Position 3 is the recommended position for normal use.
