Manual Exposure
The aperture indicated on the camera
and lens is for a subject at infi nity. While
at non-macro ranges this has no eff ect
on exposure, in macro photography the
eff ective aperture slows as the distance
to the subject drops. When setting ex-
posure manually, add the following ex-
posure factor to the value given by the
exposure meter.
