How to use the TIMER START
If you have a timer ordinarily
sold on the open market, unattended
recording of broadcasts and automatic playback can be made at what-
ever time you may desire
Always be sure to keep the PAUSE button in a locked position, for
if it is not in a locked position, it may cause damage to the mecha-
nism.

Connect
it as shown in the illustration, and turn on all of the power
source.
Push the PAUSE
button to fix it ina locked position, and the push
the REC button and " ® " button at the same time, this will put the
unit in a state of readyness for recording.

Make
the proper
station
selection
on the tuner, and adjust
the
recording level.
In order
to silence the speaker, the volume on the receiver and/or
amplifier should be turned all the way down.
Read the instructions for the timer very carefully and set it so that
the power source will be turned on as selected to make the record-
ing and again turn off the power source 5 to 15 minutes after the
tape is completely spent.
At
the
preset
time,
the
power
will
come
on
and
recording
will
commence.
When
the recording is finished and the tape comes to its
end, the Auto Stop mechanism will stop the tape transport.
