1 POWER Switch
Push the POWER
switch once to turn the unit on, once more to turn it
off.
2 Head Cover
The Head
Cover should be kept closed except when
necessary so that
dust and dirt are kept away
from the tape mechanism
and the heads.
The Head Cover can be closed by hand.
5 Rewind Button ( << )
Push this button to rewind the tape.
6 STOP Button
Push this button to stop the tape movement.
About auto stop mechanism
This
unit is equipped
with an Auto
Stop mechanism
which
protects
the tape and the tape deck by automatically shutting off the transport
mechanism
when
the
tape reaches the end
of a run and
stops.
This
mechanism
is controlled
electronically,
so
it works
during
record,
play, fast forward and rewind. Please note that the Auto Stop mecha-
nism does not shut off the power, but just turns off the movement of
the transport.
