Normally, the beginning and endings of the cassette are not magnetic
tapes. Depending on the functional capacity of the tape lead-in it is
very simple to position it to the magnetic tape. Push the TAPE
LEAD-
IN button, The tape will wind-up very rapidly and will come to a stop
automatically.

will perform
when
engaged
in any
operating state of a tape.
8 REC Button
To record, push this button together with the PLAY button.
9 PAUSE Button
Push
it when
you want
to temporarily
halt tape transport during re-
cording or playback. Push it again to set the transport into motion for
recording or playback.

Switch
The two TAPE
SELECTOR
switches should be switched
over to the
correct
position,
depending
on the type of tape used. Set the BIAS
switch
prior to recording
and
the EQUALIZER
switch
prior to re-
cording
or playback.
Select the position
of the TAPE
SELECTOR
switches as shown in the chart.
12 REC LEVEL Controls
These controls adjust the input signal level from the MIC jacks or the
LINE IN (REC) terminals. The back control is for the right channel, the
front for the left channel.
