6 Operation
6.1 Device operation
•
Connect the UMG with the suspension lug to the lifting equipment.
•
Lower the UMG into the stack of steel pallets until the opening width adjustment is laying on the stack or
the gripping arms have contact to the floor.
•
If the UMG is completely set down, the automatic release unlocks.
•
Lifting up, the UMG opens and the gripping arms come in contact with the stack.
•
Now you can move the UMG and the goods to the position you want.
•
Setting down the UMG the automatic release will lock and you can lift the UMG without the goods.
•
Placed over the next product, the automatic release disengages itself and the product can be lifted.
•
The device therefore is a ONE-MAN-MACHINE.
6.2 Picture of the automatic release
The device is equipped with an automatic release, that means the OPENING and CLOSING of the gripping arms results
through the set down and lifting of the device.
