▲ Always remove all redundant icing-up in advance, again to avoid oil splashes.
▲ neVer hang the basket, filled with frozen products above the oil. This causes dangerous
splashes of the oil/frying fat.
▲ neVer touch hot surfaces, only use handles and knobs.
▲ Supervise your fryer closely, especially when children are nearby.
▲ Unplug the cord of your fryer when it is not in use and before cleaning.
▲ Allow the oil to cool down before handling the parts or before putting on the dust lid.
▲ neVer move the fryer as long as the oil or frying fat is hot.
▲ The electrical safety-switch switches off the heating element as soon as the control box is re-
moved. Nevertheless unplug the cord of your fryer before removing the control box.

The control box must neVer be immersed into water or other liquids (fig. F). Clean it with a
damp cloth.

If you want to clean your deep fryer quickly, easily and safely, we advise you to use FRITEL
cleaner for fryers (fig. G). Thanks to the FRITEL cleaner for fryers, this will all be done in no
time.
Fill the bowl of the deep fryer with warm water at + 40°C and add about 10 caps of FRITEL
cleaner for fryers. The product must soak in for +/- 20 minutes, then empty the bowl.
Rinse thoroughly and wipe with a soft towel.
The FRITEL cleaner for fryers is based on natural enzymes. So it's environment-friendly, bio-
degradable and non-toxique. The FRITEL cleaner for fryers can be applied to all materials like
stainless steel, synthetic, enamel, etc.
Troubleshooting

Do not use the appliance, when damaged. First go through the following check-list:
1. The fuse blows : ➞ check the fuse
2. The deep fryer does not heat up :
a.
The safety thermostat is interrupted ➞ Press the Reset push button

b. The safety switch is interrupted ➞ The control box is not mounted correctly
onto the sliders, the bowl is mounted false, or one of the sliders has broken off.
In the first two cases : mount the fryer correctly (fig.I). In the last case : note the

data in the cord storage, then go to your sales point.
3. The oil gives off smoke or boils over :
a.
The oil/frying fat is old or degraded ➞ Replace the oil/frying fat
b.
b. The chosen temperature is too high ➞ Choose a lower temperature
4. The fried food is too greasy :
a.
The oil/frying fat is old and degraded ➞ Replace the oil/frying fat
b.
b. The chosen temperature is too low ➞ choose a higher temperature
If you still haven't repaired the defect, please call your sale point.
If the supply cord is damaged (fig. H) immediately bring your deep fryer to your outlet.
