Troubleshooting
The transceiver does not turn on
•
Remove and reinsert the battery.
•
Recharge or replace the battery.
•
Clean the contact terminals of the accumulator.
During reception, the voice is weak or intermittent
•
The battery may be discharged, replace the battery.
•
Increase the volume.
•
Close and restart the transceiver.
You cannot communicate with other users
•
Check the transmission and reception frequency and the type of signal.
•
Reduce the distance from other users.
Hear background noises and unwanted sounds
•
Adjust the squelch level or change the frequency.
The transceiver broadcasts continuously
•
The VOX function could be activated. Turn off the VOX function.
