9. TRANSPORT
Before transporting this machine, always disconnect
the battery from the machine.
Hold the machine by the handle and the removed
battery.
Transport the machine always with the engine turned
off. Before transporting remove switch from the mains.
The machine can be transported using the handle. Do
not drag the machine with the comber on the floor.
10. STORAGE
Unplug the battery from the machine before storing it
and, to prevent damage to the battery, always charge
it fully. If you are not going to use the machine for a
long period of time, recharge the battery every 30
days. Never store the discharged battery.
Store batteries away from metal materials such
as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metallic materials that can accidentally make
connection between the terminals and produce a
short circuit. Short-circuiting the battery can cause the
battery to explode or burn.
The battery will discharge more slowly at low
temperatures.
The machine must be stored clean, on a flat surface.
Store the machine in a place where the temperature
range is not below 0ºC or above 45ºC.
11. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING OF
MACHINE
The battery of this machine contains elements
dangerous to health and the environment and must be
recycled appropriately. Do not throw the battery in the
trash, take it to an official waste collection point.
