2 Intended use
This product enables the wireless transmission of video and audio signals at a resolution of
1080p. It connects via an HDMI port, and has excellent image processing and transmission
capabilities to ensure a smooth and stable signal. The maximum range is 30 m.
The extender is compatible with HDMI 1.3 and compliant with the HDCP1.2 standard, which
ensures reliable transmission of high quality digital content. The HDMI extender can automa-
tically detect and configure a range of different display modes. Thanks to its „Plug and Play"
design, the extender is easy to install and does not require any settings to be configured.
The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture must

5.2 Handling
Handle the product carefully. Impact, shocks or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
5.3 Operating environment
Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, vapours,
and solvents.
Protect the product from high humidity and moisture.
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
Never switch the device on immediately after taking it from a cold into a warm environment.
This may cause condensation to form, which can destroy the product. Allow the product to
reach room temperature before using it.
Avoid using the product near strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields, transmitter aerials
or HF generators. These may prevent the product from functioning properly.
5.4 Operation
Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the device.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unautho-
rised use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe operation can no longer be
guaranteed if the product:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions, or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
6 Installation location and range
If possible, you should perform a function test first. During the test, the transmitter should
be only a few metres away from the receiver. Only when signal transmission is functioning
correctly should you place the devices in their final installation locations. This way, you can
ensure that the installation location is the cause of any problems and not, for example, a
low-quality HDMI cable.
For an optimum range, there should be as few walls/furniture etc., between the transmitter and
receiver as possible, as they can significantly reduce the range.
Assuming a direct line of sight and open surroundings, the wireless signals between the trans-
mitter and receiver have a range of up to 30 metres. Obviously, this transmission range cannot
be achieved indoors because of the many factors which affect wireless transmission.
Reduce the distance between the devices; for example, use a longer (and high-quality) HDMI
cable.

1 Transmitter
2 Receiver
Connect the transmitter (1) to a source device such as a laptop, PC, DVD player or set-top
box.
Use the supplied USB cable to connect the transmitter (1) to a USB port on the HDMI
device or to an external USB mains adapter (5 V/DC, 5 W).
Connect the receiver (2) to a playback device, e.g. a monitor or TV.
Use the supplied USB cable to connect the receiver (2) to a USB port on the HDMI device
or to an external USB mains adapter (5 V/DC, 5 W).
Once you have successfully connected the transmitter and the receiver, the image of the sour-
ce device will be displayed on the playback device. Make sure that all devices are turned on
and selected via the correct inputs.
If the transmitter or receiver does not fit directly into the socket on the device due to a lack
of space, use the supplied HDMI cable. The cable can also be used to move the transmit-
ter or receiver to a better position to improve the transmission range.
The power supply of the HDMI device may not be sufficient to operate the transmit-
ter or receiver. In this case, we recommend using an external USB power supply to
ensure that the device receives sufficient power and operates smoothly. Note that
the use of a USB power adapter may offer better performance and stability. Refer to
the technical data of the transmitter and receiver (5 V/DC, 5 W) to ensure that the
power adapter is compatible.
