Explanation of the safety symbols
DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, and NOTE statements are used troughout this manual to emphasize important and critical information.
Read these statements to help ensure safety and to prevent product damage. The statements are defined below.

Name
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will
DANGER
result in death or serious injury. This signal word is to be limited to the
most extreme situations.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided could
WARNING
result in death or serious injury.
Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in
CAUTION
minor or moderate injury.
Indicates information considered important, but not hazard-related (e.g.
NOTICE
messages relating to property damage). The safety alert symbol shall
not be used with this signal word. When a signal word is used for mes-
sages relating to property damage, NOTICE is the choice of signal word.
