Information:
Possible crackling of the doll's joints is function-related and is not a defect.
Should the set function not immediately work as desired, the joints need to be readjusted as internal
contacts may not yet have been properly engaged.
The doll must not come into contact with water.
When using Baby Annabell doll shoes, a pair of tights is helpful for a better fit of the shoes (tights and
shoes are not included).
Cleaning: The doll can be wiped using a damp (not wet) cloth. Make sure that no moisture enters the
battery compartment or the electronics. The clothes (or romper) can be hand-washed.
For a digital functional description, see the QR code (front side).
Function:
When switched on, the doll makes baby sounds.
Sitting and kicking: ( 4 )
Put the doll into the seated position, hold on to her (tilted slightly backwards) and wait until she starts to
kick her legs. She moves her arms and legs while doing so. She also makes baby sounds.
This is repeated three times.
When the doll stops, she can be activated again by pressing her belly button.
Crawling: ( 5 )
Put the doll into the crawling position, click the head into the nape of her neck and wait until she starts
to crawl. She also makes baby sounds. Oops! The doll has fallen over. After a brief pause, she gets up
again and continues to crawl. When the doll cries, she can be soothed by pressing the button on her
back or belly button.
This is repeated three times.
When the doll stops moving, she can be activated again by pressing the button on her back.
Learning to walk: ( 6 )
Put the doll into the learn-to-walk position and hold both her hands. (Set the doll upright, straighten
her legs and set her arms upward or in front of her.) Continue to hold the doll and wait until she starts
to walk. While the doll takes her first steps, and with a little skilled guidance, she can walk forwards or
backwards. She also makes baby sounds. If you let go of the doll, she falls over and begins to cry. She can
be soothed by picking her up and gently rubbing her back (pressing the button on her back). When the
doll stops moving, she can be activated again by pressing her belly button or the button on her back.
Rocking her to sleep:
When the doll is rocked, she first yawns and then makes a sleeping noise.
The doll can be woken up again by picking her up.
Tickling and laughing: ( 7 )
The doll laughs when her belly button is pressed while in the upright position.
Crying:
The doll may cry from time to time. She can be calmed down again by picking her up and gently rubbing
her back. (Button on the back of the doll.)
Stand-By
The product automatically switches into Stand-By mode when it is not played with for an extended
period. To play with the product again, press the ON-OFF switch again.
Disposal according to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive)
All products marked with a crossed out wheeled bin cannot be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste.
Their collection must be done separately. Return and collection systems in Europe should be organized
by collection and recycling organizations. WEEE-products can be disposed of free of charge at the
appropriate collection points. The reason for this is to protect the environment and human health due to
the potential effects of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
