Install the new torch body
1. Slide the heat shrink tubing on to the gas tube of the torch body.
2. Attach the new torch body to the torch lead using 7/16" (11 mm) and 1/2" wrenches.
3. Slide the heat shrink tubing over the nut as far as possible and heat shrink it in place.
4. Attach the cap sensor switch using a #2 Phillips screw driver. Attach the orange and blue cap sensor wires to the
switch.
5. Attach the plunger terminal to the plunger:
• For all torches except the T100M-2, secure the terminal by crimping a new retaining ring onto the top of the
plunger using needle nose pliers.
• For the T100M-2, use a #1 Phillips screwdriver and a 1/4" wrench to fasten the power wire to the plunger
using a torque value of 8 in-lbs (9.2 kg-cm) for the two screws.
