CLEARANCES
Make sure that minimum clearances to combustible materials are maintained during installation
including adequate space for the proper operation and servicing of the heater.
The minimum clearances from the appliance to combustibles are shown on fi gures 1 and 2. Place
the appliance on a fl at, solid, continuous serface (i.e. wood, tile, concrete, metal).
NOTE: Ensure that the combustion air opening of the heater is not obstructed. Provision must be
made for adequate combustion and ventilation air, with suffi cient clearances around the opening.
There must be adequate accessibility clearance for servicing and proper operation.

Children and adults should be alerted to the hazards of high surface temperature and
should stay away to avoid burns or clothing ignition. Young children should be carefully
supervised when they are in the same room as the appliance.
