Ensemble
• If a demo song or an accompanying rhythm is played, first stop it with the START/STOP key (24).
• Push the SONG key (20) until the display (18) shows SONG.
• Select the desired demo song with the numeric keyboard (22).
• 10 demo songs (00-09) are available.
• Push the ENSEMBLE key (15).
• The display (18) will show LEARN.
• Push any key on the keyboard (40) to start the accompanying rhythm.
• The speed can be set with the TEMPO keys (5). The key "+" increases speed, the key "-" reduces it.
• Now play on the keyboard (40). In this exercise, the right keys should be hit at the right time. The melody
will only progress if the right key has been pushed or if no key has been pushed for five seconds. The
purpose of this exercise is hitting the right notes at the right time.
The display (18) will show the correct keys for the melody played.
• Push the ENSEMBLE key (15) again to switch off the function again.
l) USB Playback
• Connect a USB storage medium with MP3 data to the USB interface UDISK (41).
• The keyboard will read out the storage medium and start playback automatically.
• Adjust the playback volume with the volume keys (34).
Since the USB playback system is separate from the keyboard system, the volume cannot be
controlled via the MASTER VOL (3) or ACCOM VOL (4) keys.
• The forward/reverse keys (35) are used to select the individual tracks or to find a specific section within
a track.
Only push the keys briefly to jump to the next or previous track.
Push the keys longer to search a certain section within one track.
The arrows on the keys indicate the search direction (forward or back).
• Push the PLAY/PAUSE key (36) to briefly interrupt playback.
When you confirm the key again, playback will begin at the point where it was interrupted.
• Push the STOP key (37) to briefly terminate playback.
• Use the playback sequence key (38) to choose the playback sequence of the individual pieces on the
USB storage medium.
Regular playback > Random playback > Track repetition
• The key EFFECT (39) adds different effects to playback.
Normal playback > Pop music > Rock music > Jazz music > Classical music
