10. Connection of Headphones
If the volume is too high, there is the danger of hearing damage. Therefore, set the volume so
that it feels comfortable and is not too loud!
You can connect commercial headphones to the connection PHONES/OUTPUT (43) on the rear of the key-
board.
Playback via the integrated speakers (1) is switched off automatically when headphones are
plugged in.
• Reduce the volume at the keyboard as far as possible.
• Connect the headphones to the connection PHONES/OUTPUT (43).
• Set a low volume at the keyboard and check it e.g. by playing on the keyboard (40).
• Carefully put on the headphones and set the volume as desired.
11. Connection of an External Amplifier
If the volume is too high, there is the danger of hearing damage. Therefore, set the volume so
that it feels comfortable and is not too loud!
You can connect an external amplifier (e.g. of a stereo system) to the connection PHONES/OUTPUT (43) on
the rear of the keyboard.
Playback via the integrated speakers (1) is switched off automatically when an external amplifier
is connected.
• Switch off the keyboard and the device to be connected.
• Connect the amplifier to the connection PHONES/OUTPUT (43). Always select an analogue input with line
level, e.g. the TAPE or AUX input.
• Switch on the keyboard and the external amplifier again.
• Set a low volume at the keyboard and the amplifier and check it e.g. by playing on the keyboard (40).
• Now adjust the volume as you like.
