DRIVE MOVEMENT
High speed rod
With the handle in place, turn it clockwise to lift the plunger or counterclockwise to lower the
plunger
Low speed rod
With the handle in place, turn it counterclockwise to lift the plunger, or clockwise to lower the
plunger.
ASSEMBLY
Plunger assembly
1. Slide the plunger gasket onto the plunger (Figure 1).
2. Slide the pressure relief valve module onto the plunger. At the top of the plunger, insert
the washer into the valve bore, then insert the screw through the washer into the valve
bore. At the bottom of the plunger, slide the spring over the end of the screw, then
slide the valve cap over the end of the screw and tighten.
3. Screw the plunger bolt onto the plunger rod (Fig. 2).
4. Slide the assembled plunger onto the end of the plunger rod (Fig. 3)
Sausage filler assembly
5. Attach the handle by putting it on the high or low speed drive (Fig. 4).
6. Turn the handle to raise the plunger to the top of the sausage filler.
7. Slide the lower container brackets onto the container mountings inside the sausage
filler barrel. Insert the bottom of the container into the sausage filler barrel. Fully
insert the container into the sausage filler barrel, securing the upper brackets onto
the container brackets (Fig. 5).
8. Insert the forming funnel of the required size through the front ring nut. Screw the
front ring nut and the forming funnel into the container, opening as far as it will go.
DO NOT tighten the front ring nut too tight, otherwise it may damage the funnel (Fig.
6).
9. Before use, thoroughly lubricate the inner walls of the container with food grade
