4.3.
Unfolding
•
Position the B+B rollator in the travel direction.
•
The parking brakes are engaged.
•
Hold the rollator tight at the columns in front of the armrests
(Fig. 8).
•
Position it so that both rear wheels are in contact with the floor.
•
Now push the columns on the armrests down until the rollator
unfolds.
•
When the rollator is positioned on all four wheels, push the crossbar
under the seat to the floor until the locking mechanism completely
engages.
•
Now move the unlocking lever on the right side to the vertical
position in order to secure the rollator against accidental folding
(Fig. 9).
4.4.
Folding
•
Position the B+B rollator in the travel direction.
•
Release the locking brakes (see sec. 4.7., p. 15).
•
Make sure that the unlocking mechanism is released (in the
horizontal position) (Fig. 9).
•
Hold the rollator at the tubes in front of the armrests.
•
Tilt the B+B rollator towards you until the steering wheels are lifted
into the air and the rollator's weight is on the rear wheels. At the
same time, hold your foot against the tip assist in order to stop the
rollator from sliding away (Fig. 10).
•
Gentle shaking releases the locking mechanism and the rollator
folds together. The steering wheels slide between the rear wheels
(Fig. 11).
Please note that the rollator may suddenly fold up
when
shaking.
