Information on Installation and Use
Position the appliance near a socket. Make sure that the surface
is level, dry, non-slip and resistant to heat and that there is no
enough space from the wall or the furniture.
CAUTION:
Do not place the steam cooker under hanging cabinets!
The steam unit and the accessories are not to be used in
stoves (microwave, re-circulated air or traditional) or on
stoves!
Instant Steam Function
By means of the special steam pipe you can obtain the fi rst
steam after a few seconds. This component covers the heating
element and regulates the subsequent water.
Filling with Water
NOTE:
A water level indicator with MIN and MAX mark is to be
found on the control panel.
Pour only clear, clean water into the water container. Do
not use other liquids in the container. Do not add any salt,
pepper, etc.
The fi lling level of the water container can be read off on the
water level indicator.
Fill in water up to the maximum mark.
For cooking times of more than 15 min you should always fi ll
the tank up to the maximum mark.
Drip tray for condensation
Insert the collection dish in the bottom part.
Using only one Steaming Dish
NOTE:
In order to make working with the device easier the steaming
dishes have been marked with the numbers 1, 2 and 3.
Only the steaming dish marked „1" fi ts on the base of the
steam cooker.
Place the steaming dish „1" on the collection dish.
Place vegetables, fi sh or other food - without sauces or
liquids - into the steaming dish. The steam escape holes
must not be covered completely!
Finally, place the lid in position.
Using Two Steaming Dishes
Place the steaming dish „1" on the collection dish.
Put the largest piece of food to be cooked with the longest
cooking time in the bottom steaming dish.
Place steaming dish „2" on steaming dish „1".
Finally, place the lid in position.
Use of Three Steaming Dishes
Place the steaming dish „1" on the collection dish.
Put the largest piece of food to be cooked with the longest
cooking time in the bottom steaming dish.

Place steaming dish „2" on steaming dish „1".
Now place the food to be cooked here.
Place steaming dish „3" on steaming dish „2".
Finally, place the lid in position.
Use of the Rice Bowl
Place the rice or other foods with sauce or liquid in the rice bowl.
NOTE:
Please also note our „Preparation Instructions". Here you will
fi nd recommendations for adding water to various types of
rice.
Initial Operation
Place the device on a heat-resistant surface.
After you have fi lled in some water, place the steaming
dishes and the lid in position.
Electrical Connection
Connect the device to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz
socket with earthing a contact.
"00:00" appears in the display. The "POWER" and "PROG"
control lamps go on.
Functions
The steam cooker offers you various functions:
Select one of the 7 cooking programmes
or choose your own cooking time under programme "8".
You can also start the steam cooker after a time-delay so
that your meal is ready at the right time.
Cooking Programmes
When the display shows "00:00" press the "+" or "-" button to
select one of the cooking programmes:

Press the START/OFF button. The "HEAT" lamp goes on.
A countdown begins. Once this has run down the cooking
time is over.
Free Time Selection in Programme 8
When the display shows "00:00" press the "+" or "-" button in
order to select programme "8".
Press the START/OFF button. The fi rst fi gure in the display
fl ashes.
